Skywalker Sound is located in the serene rolling hills of Marin County, California, forty
minutes north of San Francisco. Occupying the 155,000 square foot Technical Building, Skywalker
Sound was built by a filmmaker for filmmakers, and is one of the largest, most versatile
full-service post-production facilities in the world.
Our goal at Skywalker Sound is to provide a comprehensive solution for the post-production
needs of our clients. We offer six fully-equipped mixing studios, a large variety of both
picture and sound editing rooms, an impressive Foley/ADR stage, and complete audio and video transfer
services. In addition, Skywalker Sound lays claim to a world-class scoring stage and the
breathtaking Stag Theater. Our expertise allows us to accommodate a wide variety of projects.
Skywalker Sound's extensive list of credits includes feature and television films along with a
diverse assortment of specialized formats. IMAX® and state-of-the-art amusement park rides are
right at home in our unique and customized facility. At the heart of our organization is an
exceptional team of sound designers, re-recording mixers, and editors. Their skills and
innovative techniques place them among the most respected and sought after in the industry.

won 18 Academy Awards® along with numerous nominations, and have repeatedly been named top audio
post-production facility by Mix® magazine.
