Clients at Skywalker can see and hear their work in one of the best-sounding and most comfortable
theaters in the world. Featuring a custom-designed playback system powered with 31,000 watts of
amplification, 10 subwoofers, 5 screen channels and 24 surround speakers, seeing a movie in the
Stag is a movie-going experience like no other.
Sound and picture can be digitally routed from our central machine room to any of our mixing
stages and to the theater. In addition to any conceivable post-production sound format, we can
also screen Dolby® Digital (SR-D), Sony SDDS® and DTS®. We can even run all three formats concurrently
with the original hard disk-based mix. This allows our mixers to quality control every release format
with A-B-C-D switching between all of them.
Picture can come from anything from a DVD to the latest HD format on tape or drive. We also have
custom-built Simplex XL 35mm film projectors and offer changeover screenings in release formats or
double system (but no platter).
