Bonnie Wild

Re-recording Mixer

Bonnie's Story

Bonnie Wild is a re-recording mixer at Skywalker Sound, where she has had the privilege of working since 2012. Her journey from the UK to the US was driven by a dream to be part of this world-renowned facility, and she’s thrilled to say it has lived up to every expectation.

One of the highlights of her career has been working on The Mandalorian alongside John Favreau and Dave Filoni. The show not only launched the Disney+ platform but also brought joy to the Star Wars community worldwide. Wild’s team was honored to take home 3 Emmy Awards over 2 seasons. She also is incredibly proud to hold an Emmy for her work on the Marvel series Moon Knight and has received CAS Awards for her contributions to The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

While she is best known for her work within the Star Wars Galaxy and the MCU, her expertise extends to independent features and documentaries as well. A project close to her heart was Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore, where she explored innovative approaches to sonic storytelling, an area she has focused on throughout her career.

Clients appreciate her authenticity, her enthusiasm for tackling challenges head-on, and her dedication to pushing boundaries until she succeeds. She is often told that she brings a bit of “British weird” to the table, and she can proudly say it’s worked out well so far.

Above all, Wild values her clients’ vision. Trust and communication are central to her process, and she’s committed to collaborating closely to create a unique soundtrack that complements the story being told on screen. Every project deserves its own distinct approach.

Bonnie is a proud member of AMPAS and the Television Academy, where she serves on the Sound Mixing Peer Group.
